Bottom Line Up Front

We've split the wine information and the logistics information into two pages. The one-page format was long enough to be unwieldy. This page is for Spring Release 2024 wine details. Visit this page for Spring Release 2024 logistics information.

The Spring 2024 Release features two estate grown bottlings, both releasing first through the Wine Club. It's uncommon that we tout scored reviews in our consumer-facing verbiage - we view scores largely as a tool for selling wine to our national distributors, which is why, even though we generally get nice reviews, it's not a big part of our messaging.

However, it so happens that we already know these two are critical darlings. So why not share the good vibes ahead of time?

2019 Estate Bottled Red Mountain Heart of the Hill Cabernet Sauvignon - PDF ($85 retail)

93 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
93 Points - Wine & Spirits Magazine

90 Points - James Suckling

Some highlights:

"This wine exhibited a distinct second gear after time in the glass and had a finish that lasted more than one minute. This wine exudes class and power."
- R. Gerasi

"The Cabernet continues to gain in complexity as it struts across the mid-palate with incredible length and silky, fine-grained tannins. Impressive, I'm going back for more!"
- A. Mueller

"The flavors are silky and bright, fine-boned considering the source, with a slightly herbal edge to counterbalance the dark mass of fruit beautifully, finishing on grippy, weighty tannins."
- P. Comiskey

Estate Bottled Red Mountain Fortuna III
- PDF ($45 retail)

92 Points - Decanter
94 Points - International Wine Report
91 Points - Owen Bargreen

95 Points - James Suckling

Some highlights:

"It continues its sway through a 45 second finish, never giving up an inch or taking a break along the way. This is a must taste wine that is approachable now and should have 15 years of great drinking ahead of it."
- R. Gerasi

"Fans of concentrated South American blends of Carménère and Cabernet will fall for this wine, with plenty of Malbec to boot from Red Mountain pioneers Kiona... A wonderful offering that surprises from the Red Mountain stalwarts."
- C. Pursehouse

"It’s sleek, concentrated and well-balanced. Drink now or hold." - J. Suckling
